While in Boston a few weeks back we check out 33. Reviews led me to believe this was a happening place. For ambience and food quality they scored high marks in my book. Service (both at the bar before dinner and while seated) was pretty much dogshit. I gave a poor tip and left with a clean conscience. However I was impressed enough with the food that I probably would go back.

May 28, 2006I introduced Alex and Kate to the humble Caipirinha tonight. For their reference:
Cut one lime into 8 wedges and place in the bottom of an old fashioned (ie. sturdy) glass. Add 2 teaspoons of sugar and then crush the sugar and limes with a muddler (a small wooden club). Now add ice cubes and pour in the Cachaca. Drink through a straw. Normally I would call a man a pussy for using a straw but the Caipirinha is an exception since you need to drink the Cachaca through the lime mixture at the bottom.

Vista
May 25, 2006Just took my primary desktop to Vista today. Everything is running OK on build 5381 Professional. The laptops will stay on XPSP2 as they are primarily used for demos and I like to keep them ‘beta free’.
